III & Universal modules |
The Energite III
and Universal Module Systems are non-directive, easy-to-install
crash cushions consisting of a number of sand-filled,
polyethylene plastic modules that are installed in a
specific geometric array in front of a hazard. The Energite
III System features a one-piece barrel with a lid, and
in some modules, a cone insert.
The Universal Module System features a multi-piece barrel,
which allows partial replacement after some impacts.
It also features a lid and a Unicore insert. The modules
are available in 90, 180, 320, 640 and 960kg sizes.
The systems meet NCHRP 350, Test Levels 1,2 and 3. |
